FAIR MARKETS THAT EMPOWER PEOPLE

We rewire the internet's broken incentives

to turn human disagreement into collective intelligence

using the world's first antifragile markets

POWERED BY REVOLUTIONARY TECHNOLOGY

Current financial markets evolved in pre-electronic times and carry a vulnerability of speed races, limiting trading to highly controlled venues.

Gradual Limit Order Books (GLOBs) are a paradigm shift towards trustless, open peer-to-peer liquidity, universally for all digital assets and scales.

GLOBs are the missing piece to enable powerful financialized applications that add value to people's lives instead of hurting them.

They work by replacing instant orders in fragile structures (e.g. CLOBs) by steady streams that match supply and demand at uniform prices. This fundamentally disables all extractions such as sniping or frontrunning.

Contro.app - Debates with Skin in the Game
Leveraging next-gen prediction markets for better discourse

People crave a new online home for high-signal conversation: where they can quickly see arguments that withstand public scrutiny, understand differing, well-argued views, and ensure their own voice is heard.

As a competitive binary format, fairly judged debates can deliver what social media and its algorithms cannot: healthy discourse. It takes place between two teams scoring points for arguments, following clear rules, creating an experience that is fun like a game, yet substantial.

Contro combines two new key technologies:

  1. An AI-based judgment system that listens to every comment and reply, extracts and fact-checks the substance, and scores each contribution, surpassing human jurors in fairness and scalability.
  2. In the arena of Contro, every user-created debate is also an ultra-fair and extraction-free GLOB-powered p2p prediction market forecasting the verdict, with debaters taking positions for their side.

Intertwining markets and debate-based resolution sets incentives to share clear reasoning and engage with opposing views. It fosters sportsmanship instead of polarization. In addition, it creates endless opportunities for traders to speculate; currently, the most intriguing prediction markets (for a wider audience) are often those that require debate for resolution—where subjective opinion, wisdom and morals drive participants rather than the wish to forecast external events that are hard to predict.

While Contro’s flagship app is an open arena for debates with various skin-in-the-game effects, it can also be seen more technically as a platform for prediction markets explicitly allowing for subjective topics, fused with a built-in intersubjective oracle that consists of the participants discussing while the time counts down and the judge is scoring the contributions. Scored points impact the market odds and thus allow users to capitalize on insight, reasoning and good behavior.

Contro’s debate verdict markets differ from traditional markets in that they lead to information exchange beyond pure price signals. At Contro, we believe this can unlock the best possible collective intelligence.

GLOB Test Alpha: Permissionless Prediction Markets logo
GLOB Test Alpha: Prediction Markets
Timeline: April–Aug 2025

GLOB Test Alpha was a playground for Gradual Limit Order Books powering classic binary prediction markets that could be created by any user. It proved that streaming peer‑to‑peer liquidity can deliver fair, smooth price discovery from the second after market creation until resolution, without any liquidity provision. Data and user interviews demonstrated that GLOBs effortlessly cover both thin (illiquid) and thick (efficient) markets without performance degradation and provide great UX without bots.

GLOBs were running flawlessly and fully on-chain, making technical history as likely the most complex smart contracts ever deployed on a blockchain, yet barely causing a blip in the charts of the load on the nodes even with countless of traders acting at the exact same time during an incentivized break-it-party (nothing broke).

This alpha test has fully derisked the GLOB, our revolutionary on-chain market technology.
